MISSION


Black Boy Joy Inc. is a project that seeks to heal and restore the underserved sector of mental health in black men by eliminating Mental health stigma in the African American community.

 Looking to provide safe places of conversation, access to mental health professionals, and programs that are aligned with their needs

In today’s world trauma is synonymous with the Black man. There are very few spaces where he can emote freely without being labeled. Black men are forced to be constantly guarded in a society that disregards their value and input. Carrying the stigmas, stereotypes, and labels that were placed upon them without asking. daily reminders of the World that don’t understand them or want to there has to be a space where they could be vulnerable without judgment. 

Black Boy Joy Inc. will fill that void and live up to our name in promoting black men to talk, share their traumas, in grow into their joy of living their best lives starting with being mentally health. 

Black Boy Joy, Inc. is a national database of men of color, that educates advocates and innovates
 
EDUCATE

We are a supportive, uplifting network of therapists, social workers, and organizations across the country committed to building beloved communities for Black men and boys to their best well-being. 

ADVOCATE  

We deploy a city-by-city, Rural community by rural community place-based strategy that emphasizes learning through evidence and iteration that allows us to constantly improve what we do and measure impact. 

INNOVATE  

Digital app that caters specifically to Men of color. A database that rates how mental health institutions are helpful to men of color and how effective they are in treating their specific needs.
